GREETINGS FROM THE MAYOR OF MISSISSAUGA

Orison Swett Marden once said, "there is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow", and hope is exactly what the Robert and Maggie Bras and Family New Drug Development Program offers to patients who are suffering from cancer.

Paul Alofs, "Helping Hands" newsletter

Princess Margaret Hospital’s ambition is to be a world leader and to be recognized as one of the top 5 comprehensive cancer centres in the world. When I observe the work being done in the Robert & Maggie Bras New Drug Development Program and witness the treatment and care given to our patients, this ambition is evident. This same ambition provides clarity to our work and sets the bar for excellence.

The Bras/Davidson Dinner - Golf Live Auction Item

Raise a toast to the Davidson family for being the successful bidder on the first Bras dinner affair in the city.  We were a rowdy crowd of fifteen, hosted by Rogues Restaurant from the great City of Mississauga.

It was wonderful to see two families, who go back 25 years, have a fun evening for such a worthy cause - raising funds for cancer research.  The fare was spectacular; the wine delectable; and the ambience to die for!

Congratulations, Davidson clan - we hope you will partake in a lively bid again on July 11, 2005, at our third Robert Bras and Family Charity Golf Tournament.
